MSI implements programming that develops, refines, and deploys new processes. These simulations aim to identify potential failure points and latent safety threats that could cause harm to patients or staff. Achieving process efficiency ensures optimization, so that these processes can be disseminated throughout the hospital system.

Through additional education materials created by the MetroHealth Simulation Institute, health care providers are able to learn and practice new and updated safety procedures to help provide the best environment for patients to receive care and providers to work. Examples of these education tools include the SER module and other various LEAP modules designed by MSI.
